  Founded in 1958 by the space industry professionals working at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida Tech is known worldwide for excellence in engineering, science, technology, computing and aeronautics.   Our College of Aeronautics offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in aeronautics, as well as flight training under the supervision of both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Undergraduate degree programs include aeronautical science, aviation management, aviation meteorology and human factors and safety—all of which are now available through our collaborative agreement with International Education Exchange Association(IEEA). Through this agreement, students from Korea can learn academic English in Korea and come to our beautiful Melbourne campus to complete a 4-year aeronautical science degree and obtain outstanding flight experience.
  
  Many of our more than 60,000 university alumni have gone onto successful careers in the aviation industry—as pilots, airport managers, human factors experts, and flight safety specialists—and demand for such professionals remains high worldwide. ExpressJet, one of the largest regional airlines in the U.S., guarantees a job for Florida Tech’s qualified flight-option major students. Additionally, major airlines including Delta, United and Jet Blue actively recruit Florida Tech’s graduates.
